Practice Schedule
General Practice Structure/Guidelines
- We practice 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday
- We practice everyday rain or shine
- Practice is at Tolt Middle School unless otherwise specified. Occationally we will practice at CHS if the weather is very wet and the field at Tolt is unplayable. An announcement will be made during school if the practice schedule must be changed due to weather.
- Practice for all players (pitchers, catchers, and position players) will start @ 3:00 pm and end between 5-6 PM.
- All players are expected to be ready to start practice at the specified time. The times listed above are not when players should show up at the field, they are times we will begin practice so players should be there early. Players are expected to arrive at the field by 2:45 PM and help set the field up for practice @ 3:00 PM.
- Players are expected to be in appropriate baseball attire for every practice. This includes baseball pants (not sweats or basketball pants), long sleeve shirts, hats, and all other necessary baseball equipment (spikes, glove, etc). Varisty players are expected to wear a practice jersey to all practices. Our goal is to look like a unified team during practices as well as games.
- Saturday practice begins at 10:00 am and ends at 12:00 noon.
- Players are expected to be at every single practice, missing practice for any reason can and will affect playing time adversely. Unexcused absences are unacceptable and are considered to be any absence in which a coach is not informed PRIOR to the absence. Excused absences are considered to be absences for a legitamate reason (doctor apt., family emergency, etc.) in which the head coach is informed PRIOR to the absence by a player and/or parent. Vacations are not considered an excused absence.
